The Pulse – 13 Feb 2020

A quick synopsis of the market for 2020 shows some interesting details.
Buyers are still very evident with auction selling rates increasing, multiple offers on normal listings commonplace and many buyers prepared to put in back-up offers on properties already under contract. Interestingly enough sale numbers remain virtually unchanged from last year. The number of sales for West Auckland in 2019 were 267, this year the figure was 264. Although the figures are the same the current market is definitely far more active than last year. Open home attendances are soaring with more than double the inspection numbers over last year.
Ray White Austar continue to lead the market with a sales increase in excess of 31% from this year to last year. Another encouraging fact is our 100% clearance rate for auctions held this year, every auction selling under the hammer. Our biggest obstacle to success is the shortage of listings available for sale at the moment. There is no doubt that we are experiencing the best selling conditions for years. If you are thinking of selling call your local Ray White Austar agent today.
