Amazing to think that the first month of 2020 is drawing to a close.

And what a month it has been, open homes with record attendances, multi offers on many listings and pre-auction offers bringing early auctions and properties selling within 24 or 48 hours of coming to the market. It is fair to say that in 32 years of selling we have not seen activity to this level in terms of pace on the market. With so much selling activity stock levels remain low as sales continue to outpace the rate of new listings we have coming to the market. With selling conditions this good and the traditional busy listing season of February and March upon us this imbalance should be remedied to some extent. It certainly is a struggle to see better conditions to be selling homes on.

With this in mind, we are repeating our Summer time is Hammer time auction promotion that we successfully ran in December (8 out of 10 sales under the hammer and one after the auction).
